Roger Palmgren
Roger Palmgren is a Swedish football manager, active primarily in Africa. He is currently head coach of the South African club side AmaZulu.
Career
Palmgren briefly managed Sierra Leone in 1996, and declared interest in the job again when it became available in 2002.[2]
He was manager of Swedish side Vasalunds IF from 2003 to 2004.[3] He was then appointed manager of Rwanda in August 2004,[4] before being sacked in November 2005.[5]
He also managed Nigerian club side Kwara United for the 2006-07 season.[6]
After coaching South African club side Thanda Royal Zulu, Palmgren was appointed Director of Sport of AmaZulu in December 2009.[7]
On 19 September 2011, Palmgren was named to succeed Manqoba Mngqithi as the head coach of AmaZulu.[8]
